Hi, A little while ago, I went deep on AI. Not to become an expert, but honestly to stop burning out. I was drowning in work, and I wanted my time back. What I found surprised me. Real AI fluency doesn't just save you hours. It expands what you're capable of, and it opens doors. And the more I used it, the more determined I became about one thing. The shifts coming with AI are enormous, and I don't want them to miss the very people who could benefit most. I don't want this to follow the same old fault lines as every wave before it. Women especially are not keeping pace, and are quietly missing out, on the hours it can hand back, and on the thinking space and new opportunities it can open up. So I set myself a challenge: could I help other people build their AI skills and confidence too? Not to Olympic level, not even marathon. Think couch to 5k. A proper, doable start. That became a 30-day AI challenge, moving people from AI-anxious to AI-curious and a good deal more confident. And there is still so much to explore, because this stuff shifts every single day. The feedback floored me. People solved real problems, found genuine ways to save time, and built skills they'll keep. But one thing came back again and again: please, can we do some of this in person? Short, sharp sessions, together in a room. So here we are. Our first in-person Switched ON evening. Decks and carousels, in a fraction of the timeWe're starting with one of the biggest time-sucks there is: making presentation decks and social carousels. The kind of job that quietly swallows a whole sunny afternoon. We'll be doing it with the brilliant team at Gamma, genuinely one of the best AI tools out there for building beautiful decks and visual content fast.
